This guy is the sweetest baby. He is following well in the steps of his big brother and sister. Tate weighed in at 15lb 10oz at his appt yesterday (">97%" off the chart). He is 25" long (97%) and has a 40.5cm head (59%). We're already moving on to 3-6 month clothes.
Tate loves to smile, particularly at himself in the mirror above his swing. He is starting to coo more and those sweet baby sounds make my day. He continues to love milk (obvious by his weight?) and is getting good "muscles" and rolls. He doesn't really like a pacifier and can hardly keep it in anyhow. I'm not going to give up because pacifiers are so nice for church and the subway/car!
Tate eats every 3-7 hours and has many more "awake" periods. We did a number on his sleep schedule by traveling over Labor Day weekend and having house guests: when he's in the same room as us/the kids (on vacation) or the same room as our guests (Nana and Grandpa visiting), I am more likely to jump up and feed him when he starts to stir rather than wait it out a little to see if he is just stirring. Hopefully we'll get back to normal over the next few days and have a regular-sleep-through-the-night schedule.
He likes to be swaddled tightly, loves being patted on the back and bounced and adores his siblings. Tate is a poop saver. Maybe all babies are? Mine sure have all been. One day he went through 3 outfits. He is a major belcher and hasn't had the same spitting up issues as Anson and June. Maybe I just didn't burp them enough? Spitting up is rare (yay!), but when it happens, it is big. It's maybe happened 6 or 7 times since he was born, aside from a little dribble here or there. He is really drooly, just like Anson (Anson always was and still is a drool machine).
