Fun in May

Just had to capture Anson's little chubby feet and hands:
The rolls on the toes

and the dimples in the knuckles.

This child should be the spokesman for Georgetown. Could we have more photos here?

Sweet big sister

My Mother's Day surprise from Curt. A TOTAL surprise (he put it up in the middle of the night for the surprise factor). It's a good story you should ask him to tell you someday.

At the NY Stake Street Fair. Our little Kitten had a blast

We had to convince her to take the first bite....but only the first.

Leaving the party

Handsome man

Anson got another nasty cold (conveniently right before his 6 mos check up so they did an O2 sat and recommended we do albuterol again for a couple of days. It helped a lot).

Fun date with mommy: Frosty and Fries.

Aunt Arlene and Aunt Darlene came to NYC and stayed with my mom (they're her older twin sisters). We had a great time seeing them.

Remember this place Nana and Grandma? June still loves these 'hiding places' on the Chase building.

The Lindbergs in NYC!

I had a great time compiling the photos for this blog. I remembered having a fun time with Elaina and her kids - but the photos made me remember really how fun it was. It wasn't nearly as crazy as it should have been with 4 kids and 3 adults in a small 1 bedroom apartment in Manhattan. I still can't believe it worked so well.

Breakfast!

Grand Central Station with Grandma

Picnic at Bryant Park

and the Bryant Park carousel

Georgetown Cupcake

Bubbles at Washington Sq. Park

Dax and June

Dax celebrated his 1st birthday here so June and I made him some surprise cupcakes

Silly at Doughnut Plant

Lots of subway rides!

Natural History Museum

The library on 42nd

Playing at FAO Schwartz

Elaina and I played Heart and Soul like on Big. We were pros. I am bummed the old piano is no longer there :( No more giant piano.

Shake shack!

Playing hard all week long is exhausting

Getting her nails done at a fun charity event at Dylan's Candy Bar

Picnic in the park

Proof we have another closet Cougar fan: Go Cougars!

Quacks and Laughs

Anson finished his bath and watched June and Mommy play with the duckies after. He laughed like this endlessly--long enough for me to enjoy it and then grab my phone and film several minutes of it (without him managing to grab my phone).

Utah Part V

After Huntsville we stayed in SLC at my mom's home. It was a little strange because she was in Manhattan on her mission and my sister, Elaina and her family are taking care of the house while she's gone.
One day I gave June and Anson a bath. While I was finishing Anson, June wandered off...and this is what I found. She found the Easter candy and went to work. I have no clue how much she ate,

but it was sad she ate some of our yummy Mrs. Cavanaugh's egg-an annual tradition from Grandpa/Nana Calder.

Anson started eating solid foods. Though it may not seem like he enjoyed it in this photo, he chowed down.

The Gateway Children's Museum with Isaac

Elaina & Dax

Playing at the Sander's house. They took such good care of June. It's no wonder she loves her cousins.

June and Isaac spent a lot of time together and were pretty good about sharing.

They are special buddies and FaceTime each other pretty regularly

The older cousins put together a play. They gave us tickets and playbills for the performances (oldest is 12yrs old)

We also got to see Erin (and her family). Can't believe it's been almost 20 years since we met!
