Today was a day all about poop. I only write this because as June sits with me as I type this she says over and over, "The horsies did poop!"
The real reason poop matters today is because June pooped on the toilet. This morning I asked her if she wanted to sit on the potty, to which she replied no. Shortly after breakfast she told me she needed to go poop. I asked her if she wanted to sit on the toilet, and she said yes.
So June actually loves sitting on the potty and has probably every day for a few weeks (with no business done). Whenever she asks I let her in case it is the real deal. Well, today was. A long time ago Daddy told her she could have a new toy if she used the potty and she asked for a new car. That's what we bought right after she used the toilet. Daddy is proud of her selection: an orange Lamborghini Gallardo.
And the reason for the horsie comments: there is heightened security all around our apartment because it is the anniversary of occupy Wall Street. The entire street is barricaded-more than usual- and there are about 10x as many police officers as usual, including the mounted unit. We stopped and pet the horsies twice today. Yes, there was horse poop on the road (June asked if it was food for the horsies and I told her it was poop. She laughed).
Of course we went to the park 2x as well. We're soaking up this lovely fall weather.
