This was actually right before Grandpa and Nana left for the airport to go home, but I love it so it goes first. Grandpa and Nana came and celebrate Thanksgiving with us, help us moved and hug their grandkids.
The He is the Gift billboards and signs all over in Times Square
Hanging out with Grandpa Glen
Thanksgiving with 4 Elders from the Deaf branch that meets in our building. We were planning to do take-out or pizza for Thanksgiving but heard they had no plans. Thus we had a last-minute Thanksgiving dinner with the kitchen tools that were un-packed (and borrowed a few things from a neighbor)
Finishing up packing the night before moving. Grandpa and the kids enjoyed a movie together far away from the moving action.
Loading the truck and unloaded at the new place
Taking the handtrucks and dollies (and crib/table) that wouldn't fit in the truck. The truck we reserved was "unavailable" when we showed up to pick it up that morning and they gave us a smaller truck. Nice. Glad it fit as well as it did!
"Flexing" our 1 bedroom into a 2 bedroom apartment.
After hanging the door
Playing with Nana in the closet during wall construction
June likes to dress herself and is getting better and better at buttons
How the kids slept the first few nights in our new place (walk-in-closet in the hall). It worked surprisingly well!
Girls' Night Out - we went to a few shops, I got my haircut on a whim and we enjoyed the Winter's Eve festival on the Upper West Side
Last-minute haircut (called from Macy's, made an appt for 30 minutes from then, chopped my hair). In the before photo....I hadn't washed my hair for a couple of days and it had been in a pony tail....
A basketball competition with Tony Parker in our building. Neither Glen nor Curt won...but it was fun to participate and see Tony Parker shoot around.
