When Curt is your dad, you get to do all sorts of great things at home. He whipped this activity together (building a ramp) and we played for a long time. My favorite part in the movie clip is when Anson says, "Go!"

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Working on our Christmas activity book (from Comet). We did every page but one - June really enjoys "arts & crafts."

For Christmas Eve we had several other people over for dinner (Cafe Rio pork salads with creamy tomatillo dressing....yum...). I think there were 17 adults and 6 kids?? It was quite the crowd. After, most of us walked over to Trinity Church on Wall Street and enjoyed the choir prelude to the procession of the creche/midnight massish events.

Reading the Christmas story in Luke 2 and The Night Before Christmas, traditions. This was on Christmas morning though because the kids fell asleep before the choir prelude ended.

Lazy day - we love low-key Christmas

The week between Christmas and New Years was pretty typical. We rode scooters, walked around, etc. It started to get cold (which since our winter has been so mild means about 30 degrees...)

June fell asleep while we were walking. I was waiting for Anson to fall asleep and saw June passed out. Fortunately Anson fell asleep not long after.

I thought I forgot to do the 12 month picture and post for Anson so I took a photo. Ha ha ha. Turns out I did it a while ago. Well, here he is almost 14 months.

He climbs and stands on everything. He has tumbled a lot but it sure doesn't stop him.

June is a Lego-fanatic. Here she has built a Lego family and also a dragon family.

We walked up to Times Square on the 30th to see the Wishing Wall - which they took down unexpectedly - but we able to see the test run of the ball. We saw it go up and down (it is very small in the middle of the photo).

 Curt and I made a goal to attend the temple at least monthly together and here we are wrapping up the year and accomplishing our goal. We're so lucky to have a temple so close.
