Improved Gloves

Curt generally reads on his iPad while he walks to work everyday. He developed a way to wear about half of his glove so he can turn the pages--and his hand would freeze. Too bad gloves don't work on screens....

Or too bad they didn't [please use your best Spencer or Justin Calder voice to read that]. Using these instructions, I ordered some conductive thread and made Curt's leather gloves iPhone/iPad usable. The weather here has been FRIGID and they have been greatly very appreciated. One of the best things was it was only $4 to ship the thread to Geneva, AND the package wasn't stopped by customs and given a fee that costs more than the item itself (yeah--that happens).
I offered to do a 'cute' stitch, like a *, but Curt went [wisely] for some simple, straight stitches. Sewing in the fingers of non-stretch leather gloves with a loose liner is no party...but it was worth it.

Three cheers for touch-friendly gloves!!!
