We had Nana Calder at our home from 23 November - 13 December. Most of the time we just hung out around home in Geneva. She was greatly missed by family in Utah for 3 weeks...but Glen did a great job being Mister Mom by running the household.

We ate too much good food while Meridee was here. It was great! Here we are enjoying a cheese plate with 5+ varieties. Gruyere is still usually a big winner in our home.
Meridee and Glen treated us to a nice dinner for Christmas. We ate at Le Cabaret Gourmand in Annemasse, France. It was absolutely delectable!
June with me in front of the main entrance to St. Peter's cathedral. It's funny--we didn't have photos of the 'sites' in Geneva because we live here. Now we do :)
We found an awesome Greek pastry shop in Paquis. One of the coolest things we got was fried honey. That place was dangerous.
We brought the treats we bought at the Greek pastry shop to share with Curt. We walked around the city everyday and always tried to plan our walks around stopping by the office to say hi.

My first time getting roasted chestnuts. I always walk by and think, "I'll try them sometime..." The guy working there was so nice. I had to ask him how to eat them. He showed me how to peel them and stick the shells in the little pouch of the brown paper cone. The pouch is ingenious. I guess that's how they keep the streets here so clean.
