We went to Utah December 7th-9th. It was planned very spur-of-the-moment and the purpose was to go through the items we have in storage. We got there late Friday night and spent most of Saturday going through our "things." There will be a sizable D.I. donation, a chunk shipped to NYC and a small portion stored in Utah. It felt SO good to de-clutter!!! That is the best part about living in a small apartment (that and less to clean).
The Calders had a surprise birthday celebration for me on Saturday evening. They would have celebrated it over the Christmas break but were smart to spread out the fun (my bday is in February and we won't be in Utah then). Miranda made an amazing red-velvet cake. I highly recommend the recipe.
When driving from Huntsville back to SLC on Sunday I turned around to take a picture of June sleeping. As if cued, she started waving "bye bye" in her sleep.
We got to meet baby Alexa Bryan who was born November 19th (Kristin & Brock). She is adorable and so tiny!
This was a fabulous teaser for the holidays! The weekend felt MUCH longer than normal and we're excited for time off work with family!
