We love visiting Grandpa and Nana in Huntsville. There are always fun things to do, and a lot of relazxing in the beautiful valley.
June was in heaven with all of the toys - especially Mr. Potato Head and babies
Girls day out consisted of lunch and a little shopping
Boys outing was at Miller Speedway (bullet bike racing)
On Sunday during the Calder extended family get-together, June tripped and face planted on the concrete. She was good and let me hold ice on it which made the swelling go down significantly in the first 20 minutes and left her with almost no bruising.
The photo doesn't really do justice...and this was after at least 10 min of ice on the bump.
June doesn't like fruit. She will eat any vegetable almost anytime - but no fruit. On a few occaions in Huntsville I went raspberry picking with June and her cousin Hadley. Once June at one, she frantically wanted more and more raspberries. She proabably ate a cup or so of them each time. Too bad she hasn't eaten one since then.
Curt biking with his dad
Swimming and picnic at Pineview Resevoir
Kayaking with Grandpa and Daddy
Sand with the cousins (Ainsley, Hadley & Trent)
Floating with Mommy & Daddy
June somehow found Grandpa's rootbeer. Aunt Roo caught her :)
Tea party with Nana:
Complete with ring pops, candy necklaces and great-grandma's china
Ring-around-a-roses on the tramp
Lunch with cousins (Trent and Hadley)
Reading time with Grandpa
