Despite having a fever, this little guy was STILL smiling and cheerful. He has such a bubbly personality--everyone in the room gravitates towards him. He started giggling around Jan 27th and is usually smiling. Sometimes he cries (whines) and will smile the second you approach him to talk to him. He just wants company.
Anson sleeps best when he is swaddled. Though he may cry while being wrapped up, he passes out almost immediately. The nights before his fever started (Feb 2, 3) he slept something like 10hrs at a time at night. Before that he slept about 7-8hrs per night. Once he got sick (4th), he started not sleeping through the night. Bummer.
He eats well, sleeps well, poops well (all at once still) and loves his big sister. June will talk to him or 'tickle' him and he always smiles. Anson's favorite toy is his lion (dangles above his play mat). He will coo at it and stare at it for long periods of time. Anson likes his binky and has discovered sucking on his fingers. He doesn't latch on ever, but we are trying to encourage the binky over fingers. I was a thumbsucker for too long. That is one tough habit to break. The binky is much easier. Anson also LOVES bath time. He would take a bath everyday for hours if only he could. He splashes more than June and smiles and kicks and kicks.
We love this happy little boy!!
