June: 3 Months!

June is 3 months today. It seems like she's been a part of our family forever.

June sleeps generally 7.5 - 9.5 hours at night and Mommy and Daddy appreciate it very much. She eats about every 3 hours during the day and still has many naps.

She makes a lot of sounds and loves it when anyone talks to her, including the mirror. It reminds me of a bib I wore as a baby that says on it, "Please talk to me!" Sometimes that's all she wants: company. I've learned that if I'm in the same room as her while doing chores, she plays independently much longer on the activity mat.

June's favorite song during Christmas was The First Noel. She lit up anytime we sang it. She often sings along with Mommy and thinks it's pretty funny. She also likes If You're Happy and You Know It. She seems to have the vowels down and also a "guh" sound. For some reason the "g" sound tends to make her laugh more than others.

She is definitely in the size 3 diapers and no longer has poop in every diaper. Instead, she 'saves it up' for one or two big ones per day. If you wait too long after hearing the rumblings, which I might add are quite loud, she will guaranteed be leaking out the belly, back or thighs (or all three if you're lucky). It only took Mommy and Daddy a few times to learn that time matters. It used to happen on schedule at 9:30am each day, but for some reason that changed this week.

June is just an angel. That's all there is to it. We're so happy to have her in our home.
