My big sister Anna came to NYC at the end of July. We loved having her!
The benefit of having people visit is you get snapshots of your normal life (because it's not normal to them). This is how we travel in our neighborhood.
And a place we like to eat lunch (South Street Seaport)
And the "pirate ships" we walk by regularly (and visited earlier that month)
And the bridge we see everyday
And getting the mail
Handsome boy
The pop-up-pool in Brooklyn we swam in and the view of the skyline
Hanging out in Brooklyn
Riding Jane's carousel (never gets old)
Anson was asleep in the stroller and hanging out with Grandma 'Nita so I got to enjoy some fun time with June
We paid attention to the beauty of these horses - they're exquisite!
Yummy lunch at Grimaldi's
Dessert at Almondine
Aladdin on Broadway - it was fantastic!!!! Definitely at the top of my Broadway list. The Genie is the highlight of the show (which explains his Tony Award)
Bryant Park
June LOVES Aunt Anna
Another normal thing: Google Shopping Express. The best thing in Manhattan since pizza.
8 Turn Crepe, a place we love
A movie shoot in Washington Square park
The bubble woman in Washington Square Park
Just walking down the street with Grandma and ballerina June (swimming suit)
Cupcakes at Molly's
Our church building (another thing that is normal to me). It is 4 stories plus a basement. The chapel is on the 4th floor.
Mermaid June (Anna showed June a photo of Taya doing this at a beach and we HAD to do it too)
Mermaid again and again (this time with her friend Kenna)
Princess tea parties
Naptime (trying to hold his head back so he would stop flopping forward). Both kids passed out.
