As the last day of our "Sarnen Weekend" we went to Ballenberg on the way home. It is a 'museum' of old homes, shops, etc. It is like a Swiss Williamsburg, Pioneer Village or Nauvoo (if you're familiar with any of those).

The Swiss Open-Air Museum was totally worth the trip. You could easily spend hours and hours there.
